Database Backup Procedure

1. Shutdown database -

Click Start -> All Programs -> Progeny Software -> Progeny 6 Database Utilities.

In Folders tabs click Adaptive Server Anywhere 9 -> Services Tab.

Right click on progenyweb and click stop.

2. Backup the database.

Copy the file D:/Progeny7databases/USC.db

3. Start up database -

Click Start -> All Programs -> Progeny Software -> Progeny 6 Database Utilities.

In Folders tabs click Adaptive Server Anywhere 9 -> Services Tab.

Right click on progenyweb and click start.
